Electrical healing: overview
This page features home use electrical energy healing and regeneration devices from the Russian space medicine programme, some of which are still made in satellite manufacturing facilities. The devices are ideal for home users through to professional therapists of all types. ‘Electrical adaptive stimulators’ apply the same harmonic frequencies used by the body for its own healing, and they combine them with a bio feedback mechanism, meaning these signals are adapted to the body’s own responses.
Like a music teacher teaching someone to play an instrument, these devices use feedback to signal when a correct adaptive response has been achieved by the body. SCENAR
There are 3 primary effects from SCENAR: energy the body can use for healing; improved communications and undoing of blockages; stimulation of neuropeptide production (the body’s natural pharmacy).
Cosmodic
Unlike SCENAR, Cosmodic uses 46 simultaneous biofeedback mechanisms (SCENAR has one biofeedback loop). The results, while not so good at immediate pain relief and repair were regenerative, which means going more deeply into the body to assist it to create a state as if an accident or injury never happened in the first place.
Slider (SCENAR-Cosmodic hybrid)
Slider devices incorporate both SCENAR and Cosmodic technology, automatically, and dynamically, at the same time, offering the best of both worlds.
ENS
ENS mode enhances and supports the previous modes. Effectively ENS is a very broad spectrum harmonic, which means the kind of tiny signals it produces can support and enhance the performance of the previous modes, but also these frequencies can be readily assimilated by various organs of the body. ENS PLUS
ENS PLUS offers a new main treatment mode, Cosmodic+ and combines it with a more sophisticated assessment module. The new mode further boosts the performance of all previous modes, which are still included in the device. The benefit is not just in achieving even better, smoother performance; the upgrade meant that various sub-modes used in previous devices could be done away with, as they were no longer needed. In turn this means simpler and easier operation for the user.
Basic principles of electrical healing devices
1. Automation and feedback are important, this enables devices to fluctuate signals to respond to your body as it adapts to enhance and accelerate healing effects.
2. A broad range of frequencies is important – this helps to reduce tolerance (the body switching off its response to healing frequencies).
3. The combination of a very broad range of frequencies and automation makes for simpler use, and it produces faster, more effective, results.
4. Finely tuned devices deliver faster, more accurate and subtle responses, stimulating faster, smoother and more accurate results.
5. In practice this means the latest devices, which have a much broader range of harmonics, and far more sophisticated feedback mechanisms are the most expensive, and the most powerful and effective.

Basic SCENAR
SCENAR uses electrodes connected to the skin to input electrical frequencies. The impulses mimic a pain signal and this is supported by a biofeedback mechanism which works to stimulate adaptive responses by the body. It is considered a very fast, ‘masculine’, pushing device for extremely quick effective healing (not regeneration), repair, and pain relief.

Contraindications
- Intoxication. Don’t treat anyone intoxicated (drugs or alcohol). Risk to therapist.
- Severe mental problems. During healing processes sometimes underlying issues come to the surface, and short term exacerbations can occur, creating elevated risk for therapists and patients.
- Heart pacemaker. There are no known issues of Scenar therapy interfering with pacemakers, however pacemakers can stop at any time, opening up a potential and coincidental legal risk for the therapist. The general advice is to treat indirectly and to consult a specialist in advance.
- Heart problems – arrhythmia, fibrillation. These issues can cause thrombotic clots in the heart. Scenar works slowly and progressively with these issues, however this treatment is best performed by a qualified specialist.
- Unknown contagious diseases. There is no risk to the patient, but there may be legal risks for the therapist.
- Pregnancy. Never treat pregnant women over the baby / foetus. Use indirect treatments and treat other areas of the body. Arm brushing and the 6 points on the face are safe. There is no known significant risk however certain Chinese acupoints have been used to turn babies in the womb prior to birth and to stimulate the birthing process.
- Cancer. Never treat directly over a cancer site – treat other areas of the body instead and allow the body to redistribute the energy as needed. The main risk is associated with severe legal restrictions regarding cancer treatment, prohibiting all cancer treatments except radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery.
- Thrombosis. Thrombotic blood clots can be treated successfully with Scenar, however for this the main issue is never to brush towards the heart. My suggestion is to avoid brushing altogether and simply to treat using pads (e.g. on the soles of the feet for blood clots in the legs. The issue is not the Scenar as such but the mechanics of brushing dislodging the blood clots.
Also: Avoid treating 2 hours before or after a bath or shower, these activities effect the skin conductivity, lessening the effectiveness of treatment.
What is the ideal device for me?
The devices are all different and the top of the range is the ENS. Our advice is to prioritise chronic illness if that is an issue. If your sole requirements are pain, massage, injuries, wrinkle reduction and rapid healing we suggest the SCENAR as a great entry point to cover all those needs.
If you require cosmetology, regeneration and rejuvenation (but there is no pain involved) we suggest a Cosmodic. If you require all of these attributes and the most powerful device for dealing with chronic illnesses as well as pain and rapid healing we suggest the ENS.
If you are dealing with complex issues like chronic complaints we also recommend a device with measurement capacity, so you can treat the body with the highest amount of accuracy.

DEVICES
Cosmodic, the generation following on from the SCENAR, features not one but 46 simultaneous bio-feedback loops.
Cosmodic devices are less effective for immediate pain relief and rapid healing than the SCENAR.
Their speciality is to deal with deeper, slower processes supporting the regenerative capacity of the body. They are more suited to dealing with longer healing issues, chronic illnesses and cosmetology, in that case helping the skin to rejuvenate – removing wrinkles. For chronic illnesses the recommended combination is usually SCENAR and Cosmodic, which means either separate devices or one of the more advanced Slider or ENS devices which incorporate both technologies. This combination can help to avoid healing crises (Herxheimer reactions) and push the body through pain to get better, faster results.
